Section 47. Notification of sanction of improvement scheme

47 - Notification of sanction of improvement scheme :- (1) Whenever the State Government sanction an improvement scheme, such sanction shall be notified in the Gazette and published in at least two local newspapers and except in the case of a Deferred Street Scheme, Development Scheme or a Town Expansion Scheme, the Planning authority shall forthwith proceed to execute the scheme. (2) The publication of a Notification under Sub-section (1) in respect of a scheme shall be conclusive evidence that the scheme has been duly framed and sanctioned and shall be sufficient authority for the Planning authority to execute the scheme.
