77. Cleaning of roads and roadside drains Every local authority in an urban or semi-urban area shall make arrangements for sweeping of the public roads under its control and for removing the rubbish, dirt and other matter from such roads and from the dust-bins and other receptacles, and for cleansing and flushing of the roadside drains.
