190. Rights and liabilities of a village servant— (1) The interest of a village servant shall not be heritable or transferable except by way of sub-lease for a term not exceeding one year at a time nor shall such interest be liable to attachment or sale in execution of a decree or order. (2) Subject to the provisions of sub-section (1), a village servant shall be deemed to be Gair Khatedar tenant.
