Section 3. Power to appoint Legislators to different authorities.

3 (1) Subject to the provisions of any other law in force and in supplement thereto, the State Government may from time to time appoint a Member of the State Legislative Assembly by such designation as may be indicated in the order of the appointment to any authority under the State Government. (2) The incumbent to any authority upon being appointed by such designation, as may be the case, shall have the powers and privileges as may be conferred upon.
