Section 19. Cognizance of offences THE UTTAR PRADESH COMMISSION FOR THE SCHEDULED CASTES AND SCHEDULED TRIBES ACT, 1995

19. No court shall take cognizance of an offence specified in Section 18 except on a complaint in writing of the Chairman or a Member or of an officer authorized by the Commission in this behalf.
