1.(1)This Act may be called The Uttar Pradesh Sugar and Power Alcohol Industries Labour Welfare and Development Fund Act, 1950. (2)It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh. (3)It shall come into force on such date2, as may be prescribed by notification in the official Gazette.
