BHAGWANT GLOBAL UNIVERSITY ACT, 2016

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Private Universities Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act 2 of 2024), s.72(1) and Schedule-I item 12; it may still apply to matters that began before then.

24- (1) The Finance Committee shall consist of : (a) The Chancellor - Chairman (b) The Finance Officer - Secretary (c) Such other members as may be prescribed in the Statutes. (d) One External Finance Expert nominated by Chancellor (2) The Finance Committee shall be the principal financial body of the University to take care of financial matters and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act, Rules, Statutes, co-ordinate and exercise general supervision over the financial matters of the University. (3) The powers and functions of the Finance Committee shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
