Section 45-A. [Penalty for contravening provisions of section 5

45-A (1) Any person contravening the provisions of section 5 (c) (i) shall, a conviction by a court of competent jurisdiction, be liable, to a fine not exceeding rupees one thousand. (2) A transfer made in contravention of the provisions of section 5 (c) (ii) shall not be valid or recognized, anything contained in any other Jaw for the time being to in force to, the contrary notwithstanding.]4
