This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Private Universities Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act 2 of 2024), s.72(1) and Schedule-I item 11; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
13. The Chancellor (1) The Chancellor may be appointed from amongst or by the members of the Promoting Society. (2) The Chancellor shall have such powers as may be conferred on him by this Act or the Statutes made thereunder.
