Section 16. Cognizance of Offence

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Commission for Minorities Act, 2002 (Uttarakhand Act 9 of 2002), s.19; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
16. No Court shall take cognizance of the offences specified in section 15 except on the complaint in writing of the Chairman or a Member or of an officer of the Commission authorized in this behalf by the Commission.
