Section 8. Protection of action taken under the Act

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Repealing Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act 27 of 2023), s.2 and Schedule item 113; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
8. (1) No suit prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against any person for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of any order made under section 4. (2) No suit, or other legal proceeding shall lie against the State Government or the Controller for any damage caused or likely to be caused by anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of any order made under section 4.
