Section 11. Qualification for election as Nagar Pramukh and Upa Nagar Pramukh

11. (1) No person shall be qualified for election as Nagar Pramukh- (a) if he is not an elector in the City; (b) if he has not attained the age of 30 years; (c) if he is disqualified under sub-section (1) of section 25 for election as a Sabhasad [XXX]3 or (d) if he was defeated at the poll at an election to any seat of [XXX]4 Sabhasad unless at least six months have elapsed since the date of declaration of the result of that election. (2) [***]6 (3) No person who is not a [Sabhashad]7 shall be eligible for election as Upa Nagar Pramukh.
