Section 14. Casual vacancy in the office of Nagar Pramukh or Upa Nagar Pramukh

14- If a casual vacancy occurs in the office of Nagar Pramukh or Upa Nagar Pramukh owing to death or resignation or any other cause a Nagar Pramukh or Upa Nagar Pramukh, as the case may be, shall be elected as soon as may be thereafter in the manner provided [in section 11-A or section 12:]10 Provided that where the remainder of the term is two months or less the vacancy shall remain unfilled unless the [Corporation]5 resolves otherwise.
