THE UTTAR PRADESH MUNICIPAL CORPORATION ACT, 1959

357- (1) Upon the approval of the draft improvement scheme by the Development Committee the Mukhya Nagar Adhikari shall prepare a notice stating- (a) the fact that the scheme has been framed, (b) the boundaries of the area comprised in the scheme, and (c) the place at which particulars of the scheme, a map of the area comprised in the scheme and a statement of the land which it is proposed to acquire may be seen. (2) The Mukhya Nagar Adhikari shall cause the said notice to be published for three consecutive weeks in the official Gazette and the Bulletin of [Corporation]1, if any, and also in One or more local newspaper or news- papers as the Mukhya Nagar Adhikari thinks fit, with a statement of period within which objections will be received. A copy of the notice shall be sent to the President of the Cantonment Board if there is a Cantonment adjoining the City. (3) The Mukhya Nagar Adhikari shall cause copies of all documents referred to in clause (c) of sub-section (1) to be delivered to any applicant on payment of such fee as may be prescribed.
