Section 457. Compensation to the owner for value of immo-vable property deteriorated

457- (1) In any case in which, immovable property has deteriorated in value owing to the exercise of any power conferred by sections 231, 232, 249, 250, 151 and 284, the [Corporation]1 may offer to the owner of the property reasonable compensation . (2) If the owner of the property which has deteriorated in value accepts the, compensation, he Shall be deemed to have granted to the [Corporation]1 a perpetual right to continue the exercise of its powers under any of the said sections in such manner as not to create greater nuisance or to cause greater damage than was being created, or caused at the time when compensation was received.
