Section 42. General supervision by the State Government

This Act was repealed on 1 January 1996 by the Waqf Act, 1995 (Central Act 43 of 1995), s.112(3); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
42. The State Government- (i) shall exercise general supervision over the Board and may call for any document, record or information from the Board; and (ii) may further require the accounts of the Board to be audited by an auditor to be appointed by it.
