Section 11. Procedure

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Plastic and Other Non Biodegradable Garbage (Regulation of Use and Throwing) Act, 2013 (Uttarakhand Act 17 of 2013), s.22(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
11- (1) All offences under this Act shall be cognizable and bailable. (2) All offences punishable under this Act shall be tried summarily by a Judicial Magistrate of the first class or a Metropolitan Magistrate and the provisions of section 262 to 265 both inclusive of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 shall mutatis mutandis apply to such trial.
