Section 13. Power of the State Government to give direction

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Plastic and Other Non Biodegradable Garbage (Regulation of Use and Throwing) Act, 2013 (Uttarakhand Act 17 of 2013), s.22(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
13- The State Government may give to a local authority such direction not inconsistent with this Act, as it considers necessary or expedient for carrying out the purposes of this Act and the local authority shall comply with such direction.
