Section 28-B. Tenancy right to get water connection and sanitary fittings installed

This Act was repealed on 1 January 2023 by the Uttarakhand Tenancy Act, 2021 (Uttarakhand Act 2 of 2022), s.47(1), which repeals the State Rent Control Act in force immediately before its commencement; it may still apply to matters that began before then.

28-B Notwithstanding anything contained in any law for the time being in force relating to a local authority, the tenant (including a sub-tenant) shall have the right to get water connection, electric connection and sanitary fittings installed in the building under his tenancy at his own cost, and the provisions of sub-section (3) of section 26 shall apply in relation to every such installation.]1
