Section 36. Protection of action taken in good faith

This Act was repealed on 1 January 2023 by the Uttarakhand Tenancy Act, 2021 (Uttarakhand Act 2 of 2022), s.47(1), which repeals the State Rent Control Act in force immediately before its commencement; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
36- No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against any person for anything which is in good faith done or purported or intended to be done in good faith in pursuance of the provisions of this Act or any rule or order made thereunder.
