Section 11. Validity of weights.

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Assam Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1959 (Assam Act No. XIX of 1959), as listed in the Assam Legislative Department's list of repealed Acts; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
11. No weight shall be accepted for verification under the provisions of this Act, and the rules framed thereunder.— (i) unless its material, form and specifications conform to the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder; and (ii) unless its denomination is marked on the top or side thereof in legible letters or figures or both.
