Section 12. Stamping and verification of weights.

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Assam Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1959 (Assam Act No. XIX of 1959), as listed in the Assam Legislative Department's list of repealed Acts; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
12. No weight or weighing instrument shall be sold by any person other than those licensed under this Act. The State Government may prescribe the form and also fix fees for the grant and renewal of such license.
