This Act was repealed on 1 May 2016 by the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (16 of 2016), s.92; it may still apply to matters that began before then.
44. Penalty for contravention of section 4.— Whoever fails to comply with or contravenes the provisions of section 4, shall, upon the order by the Housing Regulatory Authority in that regard, be liable to pay the penalty which may extend to rupees one thousand per day of default.
