Section 13. Competent Authority to be public servant.

This Act was repealed on 26 February 2024 by the Maharashtra State Reservation for Socially and Educationally Backward Classes Act, 2024 (Mah. 16 of 2024), s.20(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.

13. The Competent Authority appointed under section 6 shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code.
