Section 30. Procedure for holding of meetings of selection Committee.

This Act was repealed on 2 July 2007 by the Tripura University Act, 2006, s.48(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
30. (1) Four members, of whom at least two shall be persons having special knowledge, of the subject concerned, shall be a quorum for a meeting of a Selection Committee. (2) If the Syndicate does not accept the recommendation of a Selection Committee, it shall refer the recommendation stating reasons for not accepting it to the Chancellor and the decision of the Chancellor shall be final.
