Section 16. Protection of action taken in good faith

This Act was repealed on a date we do not have by the Uttarakhand Plastic and Other Non Biodegradable Garbage (Regulation of Use and Throwing) Act, 2013 (Uttarakhand Act 17 of 2013), s.22(1); it may still apply to matters that began before then.
16- No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the State Government, the local authority or any other person for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of the provisions of this Act or any rule made thereunder.
