← Kanoon Kaka

Pricing

Kanoon Kaka is free to use, and there are paid plans — by the month or by the year — for anyone who wants to ask more often. Nothing about the law is behind the payment.

Free

Asking a question and reading an answer cost nothing. Answering costs us money — the AI calls and the database behind every answer — so the free questions are a fixed number per account rather than a number every month. Nothing about the LAW is capped: the same sections, the same statute text, the same citations and the same honest refusal when we hold nothing.

  • Try Kanoon Kaka free, without signing in.
  • More free questions once you sign in with your email address.
  • They are yours for as long as the account is — and they do not renew each month. If a question fails, or if we find no law of ours that answers it, that question is given back to you and does not count.

The paid plans

Paid plans are not available yet.

Moving from one to another

Moving up to a bigger plan can be done at any time, from the account menu. You pay the difference between the two plans’ prices once, there and then, and the bigger plan applies for the rest of the month or the year you are already in. Your renewal date does not change, and from the next renewal you are charged the new plan’s price. The whole difference is charged rather than a share of it for the days remaining — nothing is worked out pro rata.

Moving down is the other way about: stop the one you are on and subscribe to the smaller one. You keep what you have paid for until the end of the month or the year you have paid for, and the smaller plan begins after that.

Paying, renewing and stopping

  • The payment is taken by Razorpay, in their own window. No card, UPI or bank details are collected by this site or stored in our database.
  • A monthly plan renews every month and a yearly plan every year, until you stop it. You can stop it from the account menu at any time, and you keep the plan until the end of the month or the year you have already paid for.
  • A yearly plan is charged once for the whole year, and what it gives you arrives month by month through that year — the same as the monthly plan of the same size, for ten months’ price instead of twelve.
  • What happens to money already taken is on the Refund policy page, and the rest of the terms are on Terms and conditions.
  • Nothing is sold, and no advertising is shown. Your questions are not sold or shared for anybody’s marketing, whether you pay or not.
